Lene James is a former professional ballroom dancer and one of the world’s most renowned teachers specializing in International Style Latin. Together with her partner, Colin James, Lene became the European & World Champion in 1984 and 1985. They also won all major events that were run in England including the UK Open, British Open Championships and International Championships. Colin and Lene turned professional in 1984 and went straight into the finals and continued up into their retirement in 1991. Lene is traveling the world and sharing her knowledge with the new generation of dancers, as well as judging competitions. She is currently a WDO licensed adjudicator.
